PATHOLOGY: Polio Virus

Diane Ngo

Momo grew up in Los Angeles, CA, after contracting the polio virus as an infant in Vietnam. Living with the effects of polio from such a young age, she’s adapted to life with resilience and positivity, finding strength in helping others and building community along the way.

Introduced to golf at 13 by friends and her adaptive PE teacher, Momo discovered a sport that not only keeps her active but also connected. Over the years, the game has become a passion and a source of confidence, giving her a space to thrive both physically and socially.

Through ATF, Momo hopes to connect with fellow adaptive athletes, encourage others on their journey, and continue staying active and engaged in the sport she loves.
