Meet Adaptive Athlete: Doug Gresenz

Doug grew up in a military family, popping around to multiple places throughout his youth but settled in San Antonio where he graduated from high school in 2005. He then enlisted in the Marine Corps and was had a deployment in 2007-2008.

 

Doug sustained multiple traumatic brain injuries during his service. He also had a full fusion of his right foot and half of his calf, which limits his movement up and down. He has progressed through physical therapy at the VA and hopes to gain more independence as he regains more movement and function.
