Jamie’s childhood revolved around performance. Whether it was acting, singing, dancing or even competitive twirling, she did it all. She continued her passion after high school and attended a performing arts school in New York. After five years, she headed back home to Texas and continued modeling while pursuing pageantry, where she was crowned Miss Waco in 2015.
On February 6, 2021, while returning home from visiting family, Jamie came upon a bad wreck. She stopped to help a father and his two little girls when a second vehicle struck the car and rammed into her. Jamie lost her right leg at the scene and severely broke her left.
Now only six months after her accident, Jamie is ready to redefine her life and get back to being the best version of herself. Her goals are to learn how to walk with her prosthetic, find new ways to adapt to fitness, and grow into the warrior that she is. Eventually she wants to get back to doing one of her favorite activities - snowboarding. Jamie also feels very called to help individuals in similar situations and one day wants to create her own foundation.
