Jamie’s childhood revolved around performance. Whether it was acting, singing, dancing or even competitive twirling, she did it all. She continued her passion after high school and attended a performing arts school in New York. After five years, she headed back home to Texas and continued modeling while pursuing pageantry, where she was crowned Miss Waco in 2015.

On February 6, 2021, while returning home from visiting family, Jamie came upon a bad wreck. She stopped to help a father and his two little girls when a second vehicle struck the car and rammed into her. Jamie lost her right leg at the scene and severely broke her left.

Jamie took part in ATF’s ReDefine program as a part of Class 22 in fall of 2021. On the ReDeploy trip to Park City, UT, Jamie snowboarded for the first time since her accident and loved being back on the mountain. This has led her to pursue snowboarding at the highest level. She moved to Park City full-time and has been training as an NAC athlete and is ready to take her snowboarding to the next level. She is returning to ATF to elevate herself as an athlete and gain the tools to reach the podium.
