PATHOLOGY: Above Knee Amputee & Brachial Plexus

Kennedy Littledike Bingham

Kennedy grew up in Declo, Idaho. Her favorite hobby growing up was soccer, which she loved for the competitiveness, aggressiveness, and skills required in the sport. After graduating high school in 2022, Kennedy attended a technical school, graduating with a degree from the Business Technology program.

On May 22, 2021, Kennedy was involved in a car accident in which she was thrown from the vehicle onto a powerline. She was left hanging on the line by her broken leg for an hour, which eventually led to an above-knee amputation as well as a brachial plexus injury on her left side.. During the recovery process, Kennedy made it a point to keep a positive mindset and to remain grateful for her life. She has also worked to stay as active as possible post-injury.

Kennedy wants to use her time at ATF to build connections and relationships with people, and to learn how to better show up for others in her life who are struggling. Physically, she wants to build her endurance and improve her walking gait to remain healthy and active throughout her life. During her ReDefine experience, Kennedy also hopes to learn how to give herself grace on the hard days and to grow in mental maturity and knowledge.
