Lindsey Johnson Headshot

On March 30th, 2019, during a vacation in California with her family, Lindsey and her husband were hit by a car from behind while stopped at a light. The man who hit them had fallen asleep with his cruise control set at 65mph. The result of the impact created a C4 fracture in Lindsey’s spinal cord, creating partial paralysis to 3/4 of her body.

Lindsey is determined to not let this injury slow her down. Before her accident, Lindsey loved the outdoors, sports (her favorite being golf), and pushing herself in the gym. Her goal is to get her body performing at 100% of its function again, without any help from outside forces. One thing about Linsey is she is extremely competitive, driven and loyal while being a dedicated wife and mother of 3 little girls.

After participating in ATF’s ReDefine class, Lindsey is now up and out of her wheelchair, walking again on her own, and playing with her girls. She continues to push herself to get to that 100% function, and is making miraculous strides each and everyday.
