William Stewart

DOB: 1962

DOI: August 15th, 1980

PATHOLOGY: Above Elbow Amputee

Willie Stewart

Willie grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, where he enjoyed playing football and rugby. One day in 1980, Willie was in an industrial accident at the Watergate Building in D.C. His arm became tangled in a cooling tower, resulting in amputation above the elbow.

Although the recovery after the injury was difficult, Willie never lost his love for sports and continues to enjoy training. He believes participating in Hyper and being surrounded by other motivated athletes will help him progress to the next level and stay fit throughout his life.
