Meet Adaptive Athlete: Zach Tidwell

Zachary is from Castle Rock, Colorado and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served four years as a machine gunner until his retirement. 

After his transition from the military Zachary fell into a tough mental battle and made an attempt to take his own life in March of 2019 which resulted in severe neurological trauma as well as visual impairment.

He wants to use his training from ATF to learn more about his body and how to control it in order to succeed in his pursuit of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
