ADAPTED EDUCATION

Empowering the next generation to understand disability, develop empathy, and model inclusive behaviors

INCLUSION IN SCHOOLS

Through school and community partnerships, AdaptED offers experiential learning for non-adaptive students, teachers, and faculty, with a vision of empowering the next generation to understand disability, develop empathy, and model inclusive behaviors.

Created in collaboration with Vanessa Cantu, ReDefine Class 1 alumni, and Teresa Barkley, ReDefine Class 34 Alumni and Retired Texas Educator, ATF’s AdaptED curriculum is designed to be break the stigma of disability, allow for meaningful conversation with individuals who have experienced life-altering injuries, and empower everyone to push the boundaries of what they view as possible in an engaging and impactful way.
