Meet Adaptive Athlete: Bob Farris

Bob is originally from Cloverdale, California, where he enjoyed sports that allowed him to be part of a team, such as football, baseball, and wrestling. After high school, Bob enlisted in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst. In 1991, he was involved in a combat incident while deployed to Iraq. Following his time in service, Bob experienced chronic PTSD.

 

One outlet Bob found was golfing with his father. He has been a competitive golfer for five years now, and hopes to use his Hyper experience to increase his flexibility, endurance, and balance. He also wants to acquire the tools to adopt a healthy mindset.
