In June of 2012, Chow had two coronary artery stents placed, but continued his everyday life. His goal for 2017 was to run the Chicago Marathon on October 8th, but suffered a stroke on September 27th and had to have a Coronary Artery bypass surgery in May and one Coronary Artery Stent placed in August.
For more than 18 months, Chow has been recovering from his stroke. He heard about ATF through Baylor Rehab which pushed him to join. Once he came to visit, he said he was stuck.
