PATHOLOGY: Above Knee Amputee

Danny Corral

Danny is originally from El Paso, Texas and grew up competing in football, basketball, baseball, and track and field. He has been a federal law enforcement officer for 28 years, serving as a Training Officer and supervising Fugitive Operations Teams.

In November of 2023, Danny had a total knee replacement in his right leg. In less than a year, he experienced an infection five different times. He chose to have his leg amputated above the knee in October of 2024. Although his path has been difficult since the knee replacement, Danny’s family has been very supportive of him.

Danny’s biggest goal is to improve his strength and mobility in order to return to work as a federal law enforcement officer. Through God's strength and ATF's guidance, he also wants to strengthen his meditation and mindfulness skills to increase his inner peace.
