PATHOLOGY: Traumatic Brain Injury

Denver Morris 26 Wide

Denver grew up playing football and baseball in Orcutt, California. It was through those team sports that he developed his role as a leader. He graduated high school in 2005 and immediately enlisted in the  US Marine Corps.

During his service, Denver was deployed as an infantryman to Iraq in 2007 and 2008 to Afghanistan. In a combat environment, Denver experienced trauma and the loss of those serving alongside him.

Post-service, Denver was left with the heaviness of invisible scars. He found solace and purpose through giving back to those in similar situations and currently works with a veteran non-profit, Merging Vets & Players (MVP).

As someone who has spent his life in service to others, Denver is looking forward to the intentional time spent on bettering himself. He wants to focus on taking better care of himself, his health and getting his body more active to avoid daily pain.
