Meet Adaptive Athlete: Donald Harvill

Donald served in both the US Navy and Army from 1988 to 2012. During his service he was a mechanic for a transportation company and spent time in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. This physically demanding job took a toll on his body, ultimately requiring him to have an extensive knee surgery at the end of his career.

 

Now as an ATF athlete, Donald is excited to find new exercises that he can do with his lower body limitations as well as spend intentional time practicing being present and healthy to ultimately be his best self for his family, especially his grandchildren.
