PATHOLOGY: Bilateral Hip Replacements
Eric Christopher Rush grew up in San Antonio and found his way into strength training and martial arts early in life. Physical training has always been part of how he built discipline, confidence, and resilience.
Rush is a Bronze Star decorated veteran who served in the United States Army. His military service, including time in combat, shaped the way he understands pressure, pain, sacrifice, and the responsibility that comes with continuing to move forward after hard seasons.
Over the years, Rush has dealt with service-connected injuries, combat-related trauma, and the physical reality of bilateral hip replacements. While he has continued to stay active, his body has not always been where his mind wanted it to be.
His participation in the Hyper program represents a personal effort to reconnect with his body, rebuild strength, and train alongside others who understand what it means to keep fighting for the next version of themselves.
