Meet Adaptive Athlete: Genevieve Tidwell

Growing up in Nashville, Genevieve lived on the field or court. Despite being born without a full formed left hand she played soccer, basketball, and softball until she graduated highschool at 18. She was drawn to the camaraderie, competition, and team environment. 

 

Genevieve has participated in CrossFit for about five years and most recently finished in 5th place at the 2023 CrossFit Games in their adaptive division. She is coming to ATF excited to train with other adaptive athletes, something that she has never really done before. Additionally, she coaches a seated wheelchair athlete and is excited to learn from the staff at ATF and become a better coach herself.
