Gregory was raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi and as a kid got into horseback riding. After graduating high school in 2007, Gregory attended college alongside pursuing a career in the US Air Force. Gregory worked as security forces and was deployed to Afghanistan three times through his 12 years of service.

In 2017, while deployed in Italy, Gregory started experiencing issues with his leg. After returning stateside in 2018, he couldn’t even walk on his left leg. An MRI revealed that he had a cancerous tumor in his foot. This led him through a journey of chemotherapy and the amputation of his leg in November of 2019.

Since his amputation, Gregory has reignited his athletic spirit through the Warrior Games where he competes for Team Air Force. Gregory is looking to elevate himself as an athlete and wants to spend his time at ATF preparing to become a Paralympic sprinter. Mentally, he is looking to continue taking steps in the right direction and keep using positive outlets.
