Meet Adaptive Athlete: Jabrier Lee

SrA Jabrier Lee was in his third year of service with the US Air Force when he lost his sight. While deployed to Afghanistan in 2013, Jabrier had complications from a mandatory vaccine resulting in mid to low vision in his left eye and low vision in his right eye.

 

Now Jabrier competes in wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball with hopes to compete at the highest level. During his time at ATF, Jabrier is looking to improve both athleticism and mobility to prime him to be at his best.
