Jeremiah Means

Jeremiah was a sports star and a rodeo man during his days growing up in Georgia before he took his talents to nursing school and then ultimately the Air Force. Jeremiah joined as a reservist before volunteering to deploy in support of his nation.

In 2009, Jeremiah had complications from vaccinations that resulted in him being in a coma. A few months later, after going in and out of consciousness, Jeremiah awoke completely deaf. He now relies on cochlear implants to hear and has since been officially diagnosed with SuSac syndrome.

Jeremiah retired in 2013 due to medical circumstances, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked as an Aerospace Evacuation Medical Technician. After retirement, Jeremiah has gotten involved in adaptive sports like the Warrior Games and really loved dedicating himself to training for those events.
