Kelsey O'Driscoll Headshot

From New England, Kelsey was born with a need for adventure and public service, which led her to graduate high school early and join the U.S. Coast Guard. During her military career, Kelsey became a Small Boat Coxswain, EMT, and Federal Boarding Officer, retiring in 1993. Kelsey then got her Microbiology degree and worked in hospitals and biopharmaceuticals as a microbiologist for 15 years, during which time she got married and had two children.

On August 1, 2010, Kelsey was in a water skiing accident which led to medical complications, VA complications, chronic regional pain syndrome, opiate intolerance and addiction, depression, and finally the amputation of her right leg in 2015.

Through ATF, Kelsey hopes to accomplish a lot. She wants to become an active participant in life again, enjoy her interactions with other people, become a better role model for her children, become powerful and strong, and not be scared of the world anymore. She’d like to become an athlete and to be an active member of the ATF tribe.
