PATHOLOGY: T4 Spinal Cord Injury & Brachial Plexus Injury
SrA Kenneth Hernandez served six years in the US Air Force before retiring to join the New Jersey PD as a Port Authority Police Officer. During his 10th year with the police department, Kenneth was involved in a car accident. The crash impacted Kenneth’s spine, resulting in paralysis from the chest down along with a brachial plexus injury to his right arm.
Kenneth has turned to fitness as a way to cope with his injury and continually progress. During his time at ATF, he wants to better his techniques as a wheelchair crossfit athlete with the goal of competing in the Wheelchair Games.
