PATHOLOGY: Lyme Disease
Kolt grew up in Houston, Texas before moving down the street from ATF, right here in Carrollton. He played basketball all the way up until he graduated high school where he then went on to pursue a degree in Professional Development and Church Ministries.
In his teen years, Kolt was an avid skater and suffered a number of injuries from falls at the park which contributed to multiple concussions, ruptured discs, and reverse curvature of the spine. Over the course of multiple spinal fusion surgeries that failed to hold, doctors discovered and diagnosed Lyme disease which they believe to have contributed to the weakening of his spine.
Kolt is currently in the process of detoxing his body of the parasites that cause Lyme disease and ramping up his physical training in order to make his body strong again post surgery. He aims to use the 9 weeks at ATF as a launchpad to help him regain strength, motivation, and alleviate some of the strain his diagnosis has placed on his family.
