PATHOLOGY: Traumatic Brain Injury
Michael Bradley grew up in Burkesville, Kentucky, playing basketball, baseball and BMX cycling, with fishing also a longtime part of his life. After more than two decades in Air Force Special Operations, leaving the uniform was one of the hardest transitions of his life.
A severe traumatic brain injury in 2023 forced Michael to learn how to do things differently. The physical and mental challenges that followed were significant, but returning to sports gave him an outlet and a renewed sense of purpose. Through competition, he has found a way to channel fear, build confidence and keep moving forward.
Michael discovered skeleton while competing at the Warrior Games and attended his first push camp in 2024. He is now focused on developing as an athlete and learning how to train more effectively for the sport. He wants to take what he learns at Hyper and make it part of his long-term routine.
For Michael, the goal extends beyond his own performance. He wants to continue growing physically, mentally and spiritually while using what he learns to help carry others through whatever phase of their journey they may be facing.
