PATHOLOGY: Below Knee Amputee
A Native of Montréal, Quebec, Canada, Philippe Nadreau grew up chasing adrenaline - snowboarding, skateboarding, mountain biking, and triathlon were his playgrounds. Speed and freedom were everything.
On June 27, 2022, everything stopped. A car accident as a passenger took his right leg above the knee. The first six months without a prosthetic were brutal; depression set in hard. But once he got back in the gym, adapted, and set his eyes on the Paralympics, something shifted. The crash didn’t break him - it revealed why he survived: to help others get back on their feet and prove second chances are real.
Watching Canadian para-snowboarder Tyler Turner win Paralympic gold lit the fire. Philippe started riding again just two years ago and this season earned a spot on Team Canada.
Now in the Adaptive Training Foundation’s Hyper program, Phil is laser-focused on mental and physical gains, building the strength, power, and mindset to stand on a Paralympic podium and bring home hardware.
