Meet Adaptive Athlete: Ruben Reyes

Ruben worked as security police and a combat controller during his 22 years of service. He was on many deployments throughout his career, including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan where he conducted airstrikes from fighter helicopters. In January 2012, while performing a HALO jump, Ruben had a bad landing, injuring his back and knee.

 

While at ATF, Ruben wants to find new ways to do impact workouts that cause less stress on his body. His motivation for the week is to better himself to enjoy staying active with his six year old daughter and two year old grandson.
