PATHOLOGY: T4 Spinal Cord Injury

Sam Primeaux

Samuel grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana where he spent a lot of time outdoors exploring and playing sports. He was riding home one rainy night on his motorcycle when he was involved in an accident due to a car cutting out in front of him. As a result, Sam was left with a shattered vertebrae, shattered pelvis, and a cracked sternum. His spinal cord was punctured due to the trauma, which resulted in a leak of spinal fluid and his paralysis.

Sam has crushed his recovery since the accident and gotten multiple stem cell treatments along with an intense training schedule. He has developed a passion for fitness and bodybuilding since the accident and is excited to continue to build upon that passion while at ATF.
