DOB: August 26th, 1988
Injury: Bilateral Below Knee Amputee
Sport: Para snowboard and skydiver
Tyler has been chasing high adrenaline sports for the majority of his life up in Canada. Four years ago, he had a skydiving accident while filming a tandem skydiver doing their first jump. He ended up losing both his legs below the knee and experienced brain, spinal, and musculoskeletal trauma.
Today, he’s been able to continue to pursue his dreams and makes a living with both snowboarding and skydiving, competing for the Canadian National Team. Tyler was also the first ever bilateral amputee to wingsuit and is an overall beast of an athlete.
Coming to Hyper, Ty is looking forward to reconnecting with everyone since his time in the ReDefine program he attended in 2019. He’s also looking to use this as a launch pad into training his body and mind.. And ATF is excited to have our favorite Canadian back.
