Meet Adaptive Athlete : Tyler Turner

Tyler came all the way from the west coast of Canada to join us at ATF. For Tyler’s whole life he has been an athlete in adventure sports. What started as hobbies have now turned into careers. He makes a living in the snowboarding and skydiving worlds as he chases the two Canadian seasons: snow and not snow.

 

Just under 2 years ago he had a skydiving accident while filming a tandem skydiver doing their first jump. He lost both of his legs among other brains, spinal, and musculoskeletal trauma.

 

He looks forward to putting in the work to get closer to doing all the things that he loves in nature: in the sky and in the ocean.
